37 dead in Gaza protests ahead of U.S Embassy move to Jerusalem

More than 37 have been killed and 1300 injured in Gaza as Palestinians protest ahead of U.S Embassy move to Jerusalem.

Violent protests erupted along the border between Gaza and Israel today as Palestinians protested the United States decision to move the U.S Embassy to Jerusalem on Monday. Palestinians are angered the U.S has accepted Jerusalem as the capital of Israel whose eastern part Palestinians wish be the capital of their future state.
An estimated 35,000 Palestinians are protesting along the border. Palestinians hurled stones, firebombs, and burnt tires while the Israeli military used snipers. Israel has maintained that they are protecting their borders and have not deviated from standard procedures.

Meanwhile, in Jerusalem, the inauguration ceremony of the new embassy of the United States has begun. Israeli PM Netanyahu is attending along with daughter and adviser Ivanka Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner.
