PM Modi Pilgrimage 2018: Patna – Janakpur – Kathmandu (not a pilgrimage) – Muktinath

Indian PM Modi will leave for Janakpur from Patna on Friday, 11th of May. He will be greeted by Chief Minister of Province 2 Lal Babu Raut. He will visit the Janaki Temple and offer a special Puja wherein PM Oli is supposed to join. The two PMs will jointly initiate Ayodhya Bus Service and Ramayan Circuit. PM Modi will attend a civic reception in Barhabigha ground before heading to Kathmandu. PM Modi will be accorded with a ceremonial welcome at Tundikhel.

PM Modi will pay official visits to President Bidhya Bhandari and Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun on Friday. The two PMs will jointly lay the foundation stone for Arun-3 Hydro Project and discuss pertinent matters.

PM Modi will visit Muktinath to offer his prayers before leaving for India on Saturday.

This is PM Modi’s third visit to Nepal. The public had accorded him a grand welcome during his earlier two visits, however the same is not expected this time, owing to the unofficial blockade imposed by the Indian government in 2015.
