Police have interfered at the office of Bibeksheel Sajha Party to remove banner that welcomed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi but remarked that Nepali people “hadn’t forgotten the blockade.”
The police reached the party’s office just when Modi was to land in Kathmandu from Janakpur. A central party meeting was underway when the police entered the party’s premises.
Lalitpur police removed Nepal’s flag and the flex from the party’s office. To protest against the police’s interventions, leaders associated with the party are staging protest at Lalitpur Police Office.
