Only 27 of the 116 sexually abused women of Chitwan by the hands of former/current Nepalese Army officers have received justice till date.
Cases dating from 2034 B.S. (1977 A.D.) await justice. The army officers stationed at Chitwan National Park would either lure or force women who would come in the forest to have a sexual relationship with them.
The women had to go to the forest to collect firewood or fodder. Many of the women are reported to have babies and cannot identify who the father is because they would be sexually assaulted by multiple officers.
