Mountains and the sky: Women of Nepal are slaying them all
Yesterday Buddha air tweeted proudly their ‘all women’ flight – pilot, co-pilot, and cabin crew. They flew an Buddha Air ATR from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj, back, and Kathmandu to Biratnagar, and back.

Today, early morning, a team of four Nepali women journalists reached the top of the world. The four adventurous women, Rosha Basnet of National News Agency (RSS), Kalpana Maharjan of Mega TV, Rojita Buddhacharya of NTV and Deuralee Chamling, an independent journalist were a part of the ‘First Women Journalists Everest Expedition – 2018’. Priya Laxmi Karki of News 24, also a member of the expedition abandoned her attempt to reach the summit after reaching Camp 3.
The FWJEE-2018’s slogan was ‘Unified Voice for Equity’, calling out for equality among all genders of the society.
