Oli China Visit: Nepali and Chinese investors sign 8 MoUs

Eight different agreements were signed between Nepal and China in Beijing at the presence of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today. Agreements were signed between the government and private companies of both the countries to develop hydropower projects, cement industries and establishing highland food parks amid a function organized in Embassy of Nepal in Beijing.

PM Oli will meet Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People on Wednesday and his counterpart Li Keqiang on Thursday.

Different Nepali investors and Chinese investors have signed the separate memorandum of understandings (MoUs) on the occasion.

Nepal and China have agreed to operationalise eight border transit points, in connection with Tibetan highways for supplying goods to Nepali citizens close to the northern border.

MoU was signed on Cooperation Framework Agreement for the Construction of 75 MW Trishuli Galchhi Hydropower Project in EPCF Model. Nepal’s Siddhakali Power Company Chairman Guru Prasad Neupane and Vice President of Dongfang Electric International Corporation Chen Qiang signed the document for the project construction.
