Nepal National Cricket team sets record-breaking history in ODI series

Nepal defeated UAE by 145 runs difference claiming their biggest victory in terms of run on Saturday.

Nepal scored 242-9 in 50 overs with Rohit Kumar Poudel aged 16 years and146 days old, becoming the first youngest male cricketer to ever score a half century in any international format game.

Sandip Lamichhane, aged 18 and Sompal Kami, 22, took four and five wickets respectively to complete a fantastic 145-run win, levelling the three-match series 1-1.

The opponent team, UAE, settled down with 97 runs in 19.3 overs becoming the victim of Nepal’s yet another record as they became Nepal’s opponent folded for the lowest total.

The deciding third ODI between Nepal and UAE will be played in Dubai on Monday.
