The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the pending two-year remuneration of the national team cricketers on Saturday.
The ICC had not sent the paycheque of the cricketers for the past two years following the suspension of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) on 25 April 2016.
The ICC has sent a total of Rs 10.289 million rupees after repeatedly corresponding with ICC by the National Sports Council (NSC). The sum of money was directly sent to the account of NSU.
The distribution of amount will be varied depending on the category of the cricketers. There are currently three categories in the national cricket team under the revised classification, that is, A, B and C category.
A total of 21 national cricketers under the categories; A, B and C will receive an amount of Rs 35,000, 25,000 and 15,000 per player, respectively.
