ICC Women’s T20 World cup Asian Region Qualifier: Nepal beat Malaysia

Nepal Women’s National Cricket squad have won over Malaysian Women’s cricket Team by 34 runs in the International Cricket Council (ICC) Women’s T20 World Cup Asian Region Qualifiers for a World Cup today, being held at Bangkok, Thailand.

Nepal batting first in the game had set a target of 127 runs – 5 wickets for the opponent team. In a chase to the target Malaysian Women team ended up with 92 runs losing 7 wickets in 20 overs.

Sita Ranamagar opening the batting had contributed 42 runs to the team while Captain Rubina Chhetri collected 33 runs.

Karuna Bhandari and Sarita Magar had taken 2 wickets each and Sita Rana Magar and Kabita Kuwar took 1 each.

Nepal will play their next game against host country Thailand on Thursday
