Nepal Women win Hong Kong in its fourth match in ICC qualifiers, playing against China today

The Nepal National Women’s Cricket Team registered its third win in four games at the ongoing ICC women T20 World Cup Asian region Qualifiers in Bangkok, Thailand, on Sunday.

Nepal defeated Hong Kong by 4 wickets in its fourth match at the Qualifiers.

After winning the toss, Hong Kong chose to bat first and set a target of minimal 63 runs with the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Chasing down the target in reply, Nepal won the game by collecting 63 runs losing 6 wickets in 18.3 overs.

Nepal was announced as the player of the match for her impressive six-wicket haul.

Nepal scoring 6 points is in the fourth position. Thailand is in the top of the list with 10 points from five games followed by UAE with the 8 points from 5 games. China is third with 6 points. Nepal Women could come third and displace China if they register a win against them today.
