Nepal women national football team has defeated Bangladesh women football team by three to zero in the ongoing 5th South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Women Football Championship held at Shahid Rangasala,Biratnagar, Nepal, today.
In the 6th minute, Bangladeshi defender Masura Parvin gifted Nepal an early lead.
Later, Sabitra and Manjali each contributed a goal in the first half of the match. There were no goals from either side after the first half.
With this win, Nepal has entered into the semifinal as a group winner from Group A. Similarly, Bangladesh has also stepped up to the semifinal as a runner up from “Group A”.
Nepal will play the first semifinal game with the runners up from “Group B” on 20th March.
