PM KP Sharma Oli is going to pay an official visit to three European countries from June 8, said Foreign Affair Minister Pradip Gyawali. He will be visiting Switzerland, United Kingdom and France.
At a press meet organized at his office in Singha Durbar on Sunday, Minister Gyawali said that PM KP Sharma Oli was embarking on his 8 day visit to three countries of Europe with the government’s aim to strengthen bilateral relationship with them.
According to Minister Gyawali, PM Oli will leave Nepal for Switzerland on June 8 to attend a special programme to be held in Geneva on the centenary of the International Labor Organization. During his stay in Geneva from June 9 to 10, PM Oli will also hold some bilateral meetings in the Swiss city while he is scheduled to address the special programme on June 10.
PM Oli will then fly to UK on June 10 after concluding his visit in Switzerland on the same day. PM Oli on his visit to UK from June 10 to 12, will address a special ceremony organized by Oxford Union on June 10 and hold a bilateral meeting with his UK counterpart May Theresa on June 11. After concluding his visit to UK, PM Oli will begin Nepal’s high profile visit to France after a very long time, said Gyawali.
During his France visit, PM Oli is scheduled to meet his French counterpart Edouard Philippe on June 12. Similarly, he will participate in many prorgammes to be held there on the occasion of 70th anniversary of ties between the two nations.
PM Oli will fly back home on June 15.
